Our goals for your computing environment are to provide you with stable, reliable and secure systems that are well documented and staffed with knowledgeable people that can maintain them without us. We provide a variety of consulting, planning, implementation, training and documentation services to our clients. We usually begin with System Administration Services on HP9000 HP-UX platforms and/or Solaris 2.5 or newer Sparc, Ultra, Enterprise or x86 platforms. From that beginning, we move into Backup and Recovery Systems, Disaster Recovery Planning, ease of maintenance systems, Performance Tuning and Monitoring, Capacity Planning and indepth System Documentation. We can also do RTE System Management Services on the few remaining HP1000 platforms. The list of services includes: installing new systems and network hardware, upgrading systems, installing and configuring any DBMS (Oracle, Sybase, Informix, etc.) and/or Backup/Recovery (OmniBack, Netbackup, HiBack, Bru, etc.) as required or any other 3rd party software packages that are specified, setting up Networking environments for the systems to utilize the TCP/IP, NFS and DNS services of the connected systems, authoring special scripts to perform routine and special tasks, and monitoring system performance with OpenView Network Node Manager, ITO and GlancePlus or custom routines as required. Some of the services we offer in addition to system management are: - management of system configurations and integration activities on specific HP or SUN platforms - provide recommendations on backup solutions and crash/disaster recovery methodologies - provide recommendations for media and dataset storage and media rotation considerations to support the DR Plan - provide training of staff in applications and system maintenance techniques - training courses in structured programming languages (C and Fortran), CASE methodologies and tools, and O/S concepts
